Kudos to the young writer who showed her positive attitude by transmogrify disadvantage to advantage. Writers bestow their life time to find a subject to make a bestseller but here miss Naiyah has cashed on the opportunity at the right age to produce such an awe inspiring book. A must read by all to understand the scholarly mind of children during difficult times.

Avireet - 15/06/2023

"And I Passed My Boards....." is a flawless saga by a bright young author Naiyah, which suggests that even the worst of the adversaries (that Covid19 presented to the world) we can simply yet successfully overcome by being assertive and taking the challenges head-on as they appear before us.

This book also pushes us back to the memory lanes and reminds us of our school days and of the nuances associated with that period.

Well, when I put my hand on the book, I found it so much interesting that I kept glued to it until I finished reading. An amazing storyline crafted by the author at such an young age... Way to go Naiyah Prakash... It is indeed a must read for people of all ages... Highly recommended...

AND I PASSED MY BOARDS WITHOUT EVEN APPEARING FOR IT is a
beautiful book that encapsulates the emotional rollercoaster experience by
young girl during a period of school lock down. In the age of social media
where people scroll their gallery or look at their old posts on social media to
relive the old memories , reading your book made me feel the same. Every
page I used to read , I used to close my eyes and travel back in time to the
lockdown days and how I had survived through those days. I have read
many books but very few have had the power to make me revert back to my
memories and I can proudly say that your book had that power . The humour
in the book was fit in perfectly and there was not a single instance where I
felt that the humour was somehow being forced . The little pieces of general
information that you gave between the chapters and the way you related
your trips to you social science book was totally mesmerising to read.
“Words are like keys if you chose them right then can open any heart “ you
book reminded me of this quote. This was the first time I read a book related
to lockdown and exam days and I can say I was an amazing experience.

An excellent narration of time spent during the Pandemic. Each chapter is well written and gives a peek in to a teenagers mind. Good writing and a must read for those with children going for board examinations.

Congratulations Naiyah and best wishes for your next book
